A greeting from Mr. Tony Petta, the first Mayor of Grand Terrace and the Club's Charter Member and Sergeant-At-Arms...

"Welcome to Grand Terrace Toastmasters, Club 290!

Charter Member Tony says, "Toastmasters helped me become the first Mayor of Grand Terrace!" My name is Tony Petta, and I'm Grand Terrace Toastmaster's Sergeant-At-Arms.  Welcome to our Friday morning meeting at Grand Terrace City Hall.  Please sign our guest book, pour yourself a cup of coffee, grab a pastry, and sit where ever you like.

We have one of the friendliest and most supportive clubs in Toastmasters.  Do not be surprised if the members come over, shake your hand, and introduce themselves to you before the meeting starts.  We are here not only for the friendship but also to help each other improve on our communication and leadership skills.

I will call our meeting to order promptly at 7:00.  After the meeting ends at 8:15, there is a smaller informal group of members, the 'Morning Munchers', that periodically meet for breakfast.  Feel free to join them too."

All are welcome to attend our meetings.  A map and directions to our meeting place at Grand Terrace City Hall is available on-line.
